8/16/13 Stuck, too big to make the turn!

This Coke truck did not deliver on our street, but it drove onto lower Bowdoin from Martin Street. It encountered another delivery truck parked on the corner (on the sidewalk) and could not make the turn. So the Coke truck backed up and waited for the other truck to leave. But it still couldn't make the turn. So the driver went into Rite Way Dry Cleaners and asked the owner to move his car.  See the video -- the car backs up so the truck can turn onto Hudson and get back on Mass Ave.  This type of truck is too big to be coming down our street!!

The Coke truck can't make the left turn onto Hudson when the other truck is parked on the corner. (He thought about turning right, which would have gotten him even more stuck!)


After the other truck leaves, the driver considers what to do because he still can't make the left turn.
